Descriptions and Directions


Bicentennial Nature Park

  • The BNP is a 27-acre park with a lake for swimming and is available to Augusta residents with park passes. Directions

Bond Brook Recreation

  • Be sure to check out our trails throughout the 270 acres in Bond Brook Recreation, off of Tails Pine Way near the Civic Center. See what Augusta Trails and CeMeNEMBA are doing to make this park an incredible playground for Nordic skiing, mountain biking, hiking, geocaching, and a host of other great non-motorized opportunities. Directions

Youth Memorial Park

  • Located behind Buker Community Center you will find a softball field, tennis courts, volleyball court, basketball court, and 2 playgrounds with a large grassy field. Directions  

Calumet Park

  • Along with a community pool, Calumet Park has a basketball court, playground, 2 pickleball courts, and green space. Directions

Capital Park

  • Offers fields for sports/events and a playground located across from the Kennebec Valley YMCA. Directions

Cunningham Park

  • Located in the heart of West Side neighborhood, Cunningham Park includes, a basketball court, playground structure, and water mushroom in the summer months. Directions

East Side Boat Landing & Waterfront Park

  • In the summer months, you'll find the East Side docks and events such as Waterfront Wednesdays, as well as a playground. Directions

Gage Street Park

  • Offers a large open green space, as well as basketball courts. Directions

Mill Park

  • Mill Park is the host of a variety of events, especially in the summer months. The park is located next to the city's dog park and the newly opened Sand Hill Bagel Shop. Mill Park also offers a petanque court. Directions

Williams Park & Skate Park

  • The Skate Park is located in Williams Park, off Bangor Street. The park also includes 2 basketball courts, a community pool, and a playground. Directions

Augusta Dog Park

  • The Augusta Dog Park is a fenced-in area providing dog owners an area to allow their dogs to run off-leash. There are two separate areas depending on the size of your dog. Directions and Dog Park Rules

McCalls Park

  • Besides the McCalls Community Pool, the park offers a playground and basketball court. Directions

Fuller Field

  • Fuller Field is one of the many fields we sometimes use to host Rec sporting events. The Field has football, track, and lacrosse fields. Directions

Hodgkin's Field

  • Another athletic field we occasionally use for recreational sports. On the 3.68 acres, there is a lacrosse field, soccer field, baseball and softball field. Directions
