FY2027 Proposed City Budget

The City of Augusta’s Proposed Budget for FY2027 is now available for public review. Residents are encouraged to view the proposed budget and participate in the review process.

Revaluation

The City of Augusta has hired KRT Appraisal (KRT) to conduct a Revaluation of all properties in the City.

There are five major phases to the Revaluation: Sales Review and Validation, Market Analysis, Valuation, Field Review, and Informal Hearings. During these phases many tasks will be completed to ensure the project is successful. For more detailed information, please visit the Assessing Department.

Clerk’s Office & General Assistance Expanding Daily Hours

The City of Augusta is updating the hours for two of our most frequently used departments. Beginning Monday, March 30th, the Clerk’s Office and General Assistance Office will be open four days a week: Monday - Thursday with extended daily hours from 7:15 AM - 5:30 PM.
