Clerk’s Office & General Assistance Expanding Daily Hours
The City of Augusta is updating the hours for two of our most frequently used departments. Beginning Monday, March 30th, the Clerk’s Office and General Assistance Office will be open four days a week: Monday - Thursday with extended daily hours from 7:15 AM - 5:30 PM.
This schedule change provides longer service hours each day, helping improve access to essential municipal services for residents who may find it difficult to visit during traditional business hours. Please note that these offices will no longer be open on Fridays. All other City Hall offices will continue to operate: Monday – Friday, 7:45 AM – 4:30 PM.
