Bid and RFP Information

The City of Augusta - Purchasing Division handles the purchasing or contracting for supplies, contractual services, and improvements needed by municipal departments in accordance with the City's Purchasing Ordinance.


The City Manager's Office will execute most bids and RFPs (requests for proposals) over $10,000. The individual departments may process their bids under this amount with management approval. The Purchasing Office is located at City of Augusta - City Hall, Audit Bureau Room #224, 16 Cony Street, Augusta, Maine 04330.
