In response to forecasted weather conditions, the City of Augusta will offer a daytime cooling center on Thursday, July 2, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Augusta Civic Center, located at 76 Community Drive, for anyone who needs relief from the heat.

Date: Thursday, July 2, 2026
Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Location: Enter through the South Entrance and follow the signs to the Cumberland Room.
Pet Policy: Pets are welcome, provided they remain in a secure crate or carrier at all times. Pet owners must provide their own crate or carrier, as crates are not available on-site. Owners are responsible for their pets at all times and must maintain control and supervision throughout their visit.
