The winter parking ban is now in effect until April 15th, 2025. Winter Parking Applications can be requested at the Augusta Police Department or found online at augustamaine.gov/permits The ordinance prohibits on-street parking between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM from November 15th to April 15th of each year for snow removal purposes. Violators of this ordinance may be ticketed and/or towed at the owner's expense.
