Bid and RFP Information

The City of Augusta - Purchasing Division handles the purchasing or contracting for supplies, contractual services, and improvements needed by municipal departments in accordance with the City's Purchasing Ordinance.


The City Manager's Office will execute most bids and RFPs (requests for proposals) over $25,000. The individual departments may process their bids under this amount with management approval. Bids should be delivered to the Development Services office located on the first floor at 16 Cony Street, Augusta, Maine 04330 unless specified differently in the bid.
