The Engineering Bureau within the Department of City Services has a number of different responsibilities with a primary mission of monitoring, evaluating and improving the City's infrastructure.

Responsibilities and functions include:

• The design and management of construction projects.
• Review and approval of development site plans and subdivision plans.
• Street numbering.
• Working with state and federal agencies and utility companies involving projects that effect the City.
• Provide Technical assistance to other City Departments and Bureaus
• Review and approval of all new entrances to a public street / road.
