The
Bureau of Code Enforcement issues building permits for any building
construction, alterations, demolition work, signs and parking lot construction,
and inspects new construction and renovation of residential and commercial
properties for compliance, and enforces City ordinances. Typically, the
Bureau issues nine hundred building permits annually and conducts more
than 2,700 inspections in the process.
