Purchasing


The City of Augusta, Maine Purchasing Division handles the purchasing or contracting for supplies, contractual services and improvements needed by municipal departments in accordance with the City's Purchasing Ordinance. The City Manager's Office will execute most bids and RFP (request for proposals) over $10,000. The individual departments may process their own bids under this amount with management approval. The Purchasing Office is located at City of Augusta City Hall, Audit, 16 Cony Street, Room 224, Augusta, Maine 04330.
